Romanian Food Festival: Three Days Full of Good Food & Entertainment

Saint Andrew Romanian Orthodox Church cordially invites you to the 5th edition of the “Romanian Food Festival.” The event will last three days between Friday, September 20 and Sunday, September 22 and will be organized on the grounds of Saint Andrew’s located at 9111 River Road, Potomac, MD 20854.

Every festival the ladies in the community prepare authentic Romanian food using recipes passed down from generations to generations. So don’t miss this great opportunity to experience delicious Romanian foods and drinks, Romanian culture and music and many other surprises. With over 3000 people expected to attend this will be a fun and dynamic event.

Schedule: Friday, September 20 from 4 pm – 9 pm; Saturday & Sunday, September 21 & 22 from 11 am – 7 pm.

Menu: Stuffed cabbage rolls, stuffed grape leaf rolls, stuffed vegetarian rolls, mititei, sheep pastrami, pasta, sausages, soups, delicious homemade desserts, Romanian wine and beer.

The festial features live folk music performances along with Romanian Culture Exhibit: Orthodox arrays, icons, old manuscripts, folk outfits and ceramics exhibit outside and inside the Saint Andrew Romanian Orthodox Church.

Kids’ Activities: Moonbounce, petting zoo and popcorn.
