Blossom Festival: Tidal Basin Stage Performances Go On Despite Rain

Saturday’s rain caused the postponement until Sunday of the popular National Cherry Blossom Kite Festival, but for those who braved the weather and ventured down to the Tidal Basin, which serves as a welcome center for those visiting the nearby cherry trees, they were treated to an afternoon of stage performances by an array of local talent.

The line-up featured Steve Hung, Washington DC Temple Orchestra (see photos), Hula Halau O Hoku (see photos),  Reesa Renee, Kentucky Jim and Furia Flamenco.

Performances will continue daily until April 13th. For schedule, please visit: http://www.nationalcherryblossomfestival.org/2013/03/27/welcome-area-at-the-tidal-basin-stage/.
