Romanian Food Festival Attracts Thousands

The Romanian Food Festival, 7th Edition was held this past Saturday and Sunday at “Saint Andrew” Romanian Orthodox Church in Potomac, MD, attracting thousands over the two days. All proceeds go toward the building of a new parish at the same location.

Festival goers enjoyed daylong dance and music performances while experiencing the delicious cuisine of Romania. The festival also included a Kids Zone filled with a moon bounce, petting zoo, glitter tattoo artists and more! In addition, a Silent Auction and several raffle drawings took place throughout the weekend.  A traditional folk and faith exhibit was open during the festival, enabling visitors to learn more about the ancestral orthodox religion, tumultuous history, folk costumes, pottery of Romania.
