Dance and Music of Bolivia Featured as Part of Fairfax County’s Summer Entertainment Series

The Mount Vernon Nights Concert Series at the Workhouse Arts Center featured a cultural experience of one of Northern Virginia’s largest ethnic communities Saturday evening. Representatives from Comite Pro Bolivia were on hand to share traditions of their homeland. A fashion display, several traditional folkloric Bolivian dances, traditional music, display of traditional foods and instruments and an explanation of the various languages and popular tidbits packed into the hour long program gave the audience a greater appreciation of one of our area’s proudest communities.

The concert series is free to the public and feature a variety of performances which reflect Fairfax County’s cultural diversity and community spirit.
