German Cultural Events – Washington, DC

As 2016 winds to a close, we wish you Tage der Ruhe und Besinnlichkeit—days of calm and peace.

The past year certainly has been eventful, and not only in terms of German cultural events! The final days of the year are for reflecting on what has been, recharging batteries, and imagining possibilities for the year to come.

Encounters with culture, be they in the museum, theater, or elsewhere, encourage such contemplation. So whether you find yourself at the AFI EU Film Showcase, one of the many Christmas markets in the region, or perhaps at the traditional “Deutsches Weihnachtskonzert” of the Washington Sängerbundwir wünschen Alles Gute, and when the time comes, einen guten Rutsch ins Jahr 2017!
