Piano Concert: Embassy of Slovakia Republic Feb 17th Announcement

Under the gracious patronage of H.E., the Ambassador of Slovakia and Mrs. Peter Kmec, Washington International Piano Arts Council (WIPAC), in cooperation with the Cultural Affairs of the embassy welcomes WIPAC members and guests to celebrate the music and the arts in this very special piano concert, “Winter Interlude” at the atrium of the Embassy of the Slovak Republic, City of Washington.

Featuring American pianist THOMAS PANDOLFI, who is an exciting virtuoso and sought after by audiences worldwide. He performed for WIPAC at the 13th November Gala held at the OAS Ballroom showing passionate artistry, depth and amazing technique. 

His orchestral appearances feature not only the beloved masterpiece concerti by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov and Liszt, but also by Paderewski, Rubinstein and Moszkowski. Additionally in the “Pops” genre, Thomas’ critically acclaimed performances of Rhapsody in Blue, Concerto in F (Gershwin), Warsaw Concerto (Addinsell) and the James Bond Concerto (Proctor) are immensely popular.

Thomas’ international concerts have carried him across the globe to China and Europe. He has collaborated with conductors such as Piotr Gajewski, Dimitru Goia, Sabin Pautza, Emil Seigbert Maxim, Peter Schmelzer, Mihail Agafita, Grigori Moseico, David Russell Hulme, Andreas Delfs, Miriam Burns, Sebrina Alfonso, Nicholas Palmer, William Intrilligator, Kim Allen Kluge, Robert Hart Baker, Crafton Beck, Lawrence Rapchak, and Gordon Johnson and our very own Miriam Burns, conductor of McLean Orchestra. A graduate of The  Juilliard School, Pandolfi earned both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees as a scholarship student. He is the father of two beautiful children, and resides in Washington, DC.

WIPAC is a 501(c) (3) organization, all contributions and donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
