DPR to Host Citywide Cheer & Dance Showcase at Raymond Recreation Center  

The DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) invites the community to Raymond Recreation Center (3725 10th Street, NW) for the Citywide Cheer and Dance Showcase on Saturday, March 18th, from 10:30 am to 12 pm. The showcase will highlight participants’ dexterity development, flexibility, coordination and stunt technique.  

The DPR Cheer program provides growth and fun for youth, between the ages of 6 – 18 year old. Participants learn chants, cheers and team building exercises to support good sportsmanship and team play. Their routines are showcased at regional and citywide competition and events.
