Both the Southwest Waterfront and the Tidal Basin played host today to thousands of visitors as this year’s Cherry Blossom Festival continues to bloom.
In spite of ongoing construction and a windy day, the Southwest Waterfront Fireworks Festival entertained festival-goers with three stages of non-stop entertainment, children activities and an array of food trucks offering a wide choice of cuisines. The evening concluded with a fireworks show.
The Tidal Basin featured a day filled with entertainment at one end with children’s activities at the other.
