This year, 4714 in the Chinese Lunar Calendar, is the Year of the Monkey, symbolizing wisdom, intelligence, confidence, creativity and leadership.
This year’s parade will be the biggest, most colorful, and diverse one yet! Don’t miss out on one of DC’s largest cultural celebrations. Parade performances include the traditional lions, dragons and kung fu entries as well as the Batala DC (Afro-Brazilian all-women drummers), US Army Fife & Drum Corp, Whitman High School Drumline, The NatMobile & President Mascots, Maplewood Youth Football, Irish Dancers and more!
