The Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center (RBB/ITC) hosted its third—and most popular— Winternational celebration with eighteen (18) participating embassies (including OAS), showcasing how each celebrates the holiday season at the Atrium of the RRB/ITC from 11am – 2pm on Wednesday, December 10, 2014.
This exciting event brought in approximately 1,000 local and international residents in addition to downtown employees, who enjoyed the vibrant visuals, foods and sounds that captured the nature of the season. The ambiance of an international bazaar featured embassy exhibitors and artisans as well as a gingerbread cookie decorating station, complimentary cookies, hot cocoa and apple cider, sampling of global bites and cultural performances.
The RRB/ITC is a unique destination in the city, attracting leaders from around the world who foster constructive conversations on international trade and culture and host Washington locals and visitors who enjoy community-centric entertainment and programming. This event was free, open to the public and was sponsored by Trade Center Management Associates, the exclusive manager of the RRB/ITC.

Cultural performances and seasonal treats from almost 18 embassies (including OAS)
WHO: Embassies included Bahrain, Bangladesh, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Fiji, Guinea, Indonesia, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Uruguay, and the Organization of American States (OAS). Cultural performances included classically trained Russian violinist Rafael Javadov, Malaysian dancer Wuiping Yap, Cuareim 1080, the best Candombe group in Uruguay, and George of Uganda- the greatest African performer of the Year.
